If I can successfully master one skill today, it would be to heal hearts. There are too many unsolved interpersonal problems that my family faces, but I cannot help them. If I try, I only temproarily hold the problems down. They don't seem to understand that minor problems should not be held onto by grudges. When will it stop?

Literally speaking, I found my phone last night so I could set the alarm. : )
All right, let's get back on topic.
Well, I thought I had lost my sense of assertiveness over the year after I grew insecure with myself. I had trouble expressing myself through speech because I was self-conscious about the way I say things and if it would be understood by the person whom I spoke to. It's getting better now, but I still have moments when I beat myself over for not being entirely articulate in English as it is my first language.

I want to thank my parents for financing my college tuition and raising me up to this state. Without them, I would definitely not be who I am today. Regardless of the inevitable family fights, I still love my family and care about them no less than anything in the world. They are my rock and my all.
Remember to thank your parents!

The last work of art I remember is from stumbleupon.com. My friend showed me this picture of a beam of light shining through a hole of a cloudy day. The atmosphere was generally gloomy except for that piercing in the sky. It was magical and aroused thoughts of skeptism. May it be photoshop or real, it was indeed a very amazing piece of art.

I learned that the body requires all types of vitamins, nutrients and minerals. All the required minerals - macro or micro - are found in different types of foods, so that is why it is important to eat a well, balanced diet. Water is also very important. Water not only serves as a solvent for the body, but it is also found in lean body tissue. Without water, the brain risks chances of fatigue, memory loss and light-headedness. I did not know the importance of water until I realize these symptoms in me!
Lesson to take home (or at home): eat a well-balanced diet and stay hydrated!

My theory of the world is you do not have a "predestined" destiny, but that destiny can only be made using your wo hands to create one. In other words, nothing happens for a reason unless you let that reason happen. I used to believe in prophecies and allowed a prediction said by another person tell my destiny. I know better that you are not yourself unless you, yourself, try for it.

I save money for my future undergraduate/graduate college expenses.
I keep the friendships I made in high school with me. They are my main source of comfort when I need a break from college stress. Since I am a commuter, I have a smaller opportunity in making friends.
I store up knowledge from studying all sorts of subjects because will come to great use when I enter the work force.

The sense of clarity and purpose makes this day wonderful. I was stressed from homework yesterday, but after a good nights rest I was renewed to take on today's challenges.

Whenever there was frustration hit the choir room, my choir teacher would ask us to breath out and say together "serenity now". This phrase usually brought us back on track. The thought of serenity brings me peace. Whenever I'm stressed, exercises - including deep breathing, clearing the mind and telling myself that I will everything done - also helps. Flowers, light pastel color pictures also bring me peace. ^____^ Also, whenever I need to study, I like to study in a quiet room and/or with peaceful instrumental music.
